Gundersen Hotel and Suites

Great hotel. Clean and well stocked rooms. Friendly and helpful demeanor from all the staff. Breakfast was above expectations for a hotel, and they have 24 hours coffee, juice and fountain drinks from Pepsi. Everything I needed was present, clean, and well maintained, even the basement guest laundry room.

Very nice clean hotel. Breakfast was really good and a nice variety of food. The rooms were spacious. I would recommend this place and I will stay here again. Only downside was we were on the highway side and it was pretty noisy. Stay in a odd number room

Good place to stay for health care overnight. Good AM breakfast. Rooms perfect. Only problem is elevator does not work consistently for past 6months so have to use stairs to descend.

Rooms were nice however you could hear other guests through the walls.

What a pleasant surprise! Just traveling through LaCrosse and stayed 1 night. Rooms were large and comfortable, great bed and pillows. Staff were professional and friendly. Breakfast was good! Prices reasonable. Would definitely come back if in the area!

Chairs were all loose. No hot tub, no steam room or shower at pool , pool felt greasy. Elevator button to first floor was broken/weak. Parking lot was difficult to figure out how to enter. Front desk person was nice.

Checkout in service very friendly helped get me what i needed.clean room.checked in later day winter they have cute little food area and pantry for needs.pool yes.bed so comfortable pillows the best.hair conditioner wow no tangles.breakfast veggie b omelet.pancakes.coffe.milk.juice.bagel cream cheese.i could see hospital across street.there is walkway so you don't have to go into freezing cold or rain to get to hospital to visit.tv easy use and great channel pick.coffee maker fridge dryer.you can order food delivery.excellent service was a very comfortable stay Would I recommend it to a friend absolutely yes.hot shower very relaxing because it was below zero outside and windy.definate yes for would I visit again

Made our visit to the Dr. way less stressful than if we had to drive in early in the morning from our home an hour away. Parking was plentiful and the lobby was welcoming, but there was no one at the desk when we arrived. After waiting a few minutes TWO people appeared and we were checked in and welcomed. The room was spacious enough, clean, comfortable, and quiet once the traffic three stories below thinned out. We liked that breakfast was available starting at 6am having recently stayed elsewhere with no "in-house" breakfast at all and another that didn't get going until 7. The hotel seemed to only have three luggage carts, all of which were apparently in use when we checked out mid-morning, which made for a minor hassle. All in all the convenince and comfort outweighed any shortcomings, so we would be happy to book here again if the need again arises.
